Getting started

Becoming a Creator

How to enable the Creator side of your nowyouseeme account.

Every nowyouseeme account starts as a regular Member account so you can browse Creators, follow them and pay for memberships. To publish posts and earn, you need to enable the Creator side of your account.

Where to start. Open Settings › Become a Creator and walk through the short onboarding flow. You can do this from the same account you already use — you do not need a second login.

What we ask for:

 • a display name and username for your Creator profile (this is what people will see and search for);
 • a profile photo and a short bio;
 • the categories that best describe what you make (music, art, fitness, podcast, education, etc.);
 • a payout account via Stripe Connect so we can send you the money your Members pay (see Connecting your Stripe account);
 • your initial tier setup — starting with the mandatory free tier and as many paid tiers as you want (see Setting up your tiers).

You can save and come back to most of these steps later, but Stripe verification and at least one tier are required before your profile is visible to others.

One account, two roles. Once Creator mode is enabled, your single account is both a Member account and a Creator account at the same time. You can keep following other Creators, paying for memberships and using your library exactly as before, while also publishing your own posts and earning from your Members. Nothing to switch — both sides are always active on the same login.

There is no application or approval queue. As long as your content respects our Content guidelines and Terms of service, you can start posting as soon as Stripe is connected.

What it costs. Becoming a Creator is free. We only earn when you do — see Creator fees overview for the platform fee and the payment-processing breakdown.

Next steps. Once you are set up, jump into Publishing your first post and Setting up your tiers.
